CTS Horizon Sdn. Bhd. (“CTS”) paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport (MINDET), in early April 2026. The delegation was led by Puan Zurinah Datuk Hanafiah, CEO, alongside Puan Aines Ajik, Head of Business Development (BDD), and Puan Juwita Kumala Anak Robin, Corporate Affairs and Strategy. The delegation was warmly received by the Deputy Chief Minister III and Minister of MINDET, Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The visit served as an introduction to CTS, including its recent rebranding, while also providing a platform to discuss potential strategic collaboration between CTS and MINDET in strengthening telecommunications infrastructure across Sabah.

During the meeting, CTS highlighted its ongoing initiatives to enhance network coverage and improve the quality of telecommunications services statewide. The company also expressed its readiness to collaborate with industrial parks and major ports to support the evolving needs of the industrial and logistics sectors.

Datuk Ewon Benedick conveyed his appreciation for CTS’s commitment and underscored the critical role of robust telecommunications infrastructure as a catalyst for Sabah’s economic growth, particularly in the era of digitalisation.

In addition, CTS expressed its intention to explore partnerships with local Sabah-based companies, including property developers and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to expand access to technology and strengthen the competitiveness of local businesses. This initiative is expected to create greater opportunities for local entrepreneurs, in line with Sabah’s vision for inclusive and resilient economic development.
